Between October 2007 and June 2008, the number of Facebook users in the US grew 32%, with the fastest growth occurring in the 30+ age group. Spanning such a wide demographic, companies not taking advantage of marketing opportunities on Facebook are missing out on a huge opportunity to connect with potential customers.
